It has a 1 Watt high power LED bulb, and is operated by pressing the tiny chrome two-way button switch on the side - press once to turn on both lights, twice for the night light function blue disk light only. The flashlight is attached to a 44" powder coated steel pole, and may be removed and held by hand with the power chord attached, or held completely detached from the chord and pole.
